Anti-N4BP2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein NEDD4 binding protein 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1770 amino acid residues and a mass of 198.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. N4BP2 is known to have 5'-polynucleotide kinase and nicking endonuclease activity. Post-translational modifications have been described, including ubiquitination. Synonyms for this target antigen include BCL-3-binding protein. N4BP2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunohistochemistry is the most common application for the N4BP2 antibodies listed below. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
