Anti-CGK1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CGK1 antigen is another term for the human protein protein kinase cGMP-dependent 1, encoded by the PRKG1 gene. The protein is a serine/threonine protein kinase that acts as key mediator of the nitric oxide (NO)/cGMP signaling pathway. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 671 residues and a mass of 76.4 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm and it is notably expressed in the lung and placenta. The CGK1 protein is a member of the AGC Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family. Other alias names for CGK1 include AAT8, PKG, and PKG1. A number of CGK1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
