Anti-US3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target US3 is a known alias name of the protein ribosomal protein S3, encoded by the RPS3 gene in humans. This 243-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the small ribosomal subunit. It is localized to the nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated, sumoylated, cleaved and phosphorylated post-translational modifications.
