Anti-SPATIAL antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SPATIAL antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TBATA gene, which encodes thymus, brain and testes associated. This protein is known to function in cell differentiation and spermatogenesis, among other biological roles. The human version of SPATIAL has a canonical amino acid length of 351 residues and a protein mass of 39.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells. SPATIAL is a member of the TBATA protein family.
