Anti-SAPAP3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SAPAP3 is a known alias name of the protein DLG associated protein 3, encoded by the DLGAP3 gene in humans. This 979-amino acid residue protein is believed to play a role in the molecular organization of synapses and neuronal cell signaling. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in the rectum, colon, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and caudate. Western Blot is the most common application for the SAPAP3 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
