Anti-PFDN3 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The PFDN3 antigen is another term for the human protein VHL binding protein 1, encoded by the VBP1 gene. The protein is known to bind specifically to cytosolic chaperonin (c-CPN) and transfers target proteins to it. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 197 residues and a mass of 22.6 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm and it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The PFDN3 protein is a member of the Prefoldin subunit alpha protein family. Other alias names for PFDN3 include HIBBJ46 and PFD3.
