Anti-Munc18c antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Munc18c is a known alias name of the protein syntaxin binding protein 3, encoded by the STXBP3 gene in humans. This 592-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in brain development and carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and cerebral cortex. Other synonyms for Munc18c include MUNC18-3 and MUNC18-3. Indicated applications for Munc18c antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
