Anti-MASP3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target MASP3 is a known alias name of the protein MBL associated serine protease 1, encoded by the MASP1 gene in humans. This 699-amino acid residue protein is reported to function in the lectin pathway of complement, which performs a key role in innate immunity by recognizing pathogens through patterns of sugar moieties and neutralizing them. The protein is secreted and features N-glycosylated and cleaved post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for MASP3 include 3MC1, CRARF, and CRARF1. Indicated applications for MASP3 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
