Anti-KPI2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target KPI2 is a known alias name of the protein lemur tyrosine kinase 2, encoded by the LMTK2 gene in humans. This 1503-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in peptidyl-serine phosphorylation and protein phosphorylation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the membrane of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be mainly expressed in skeletal muscle, and weakly in the brain and pancreas. Other synonyms for KPI2 include AATYK2, BREK, and KPI-2. Indicated applications for KPI2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
