Anti-HDPTP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HDPTP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PTPN23 gene, which encodes protein tyrosine phosphatase non-receptor type 23. This protein is known to function in cilium assembly and protein dephosphorylation, among other biological roles. The human version of HDPTP has a canonical amino acid length of 1636 residues and a protein mass of 179 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus, cytoplasmic vesicles, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as HD-PTP. Indicated applications for HDPTP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
