Anti-CSTP1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CSTP1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CPPED1 gene, which encodes calcineurin like phosphoesterase domain containing 1. This protein is reported to be a protein phosphatase that dephosphorylates AKT family kinase specifically at 'Ser-473', blocking cell cycle progression and promoting cell apoptosis. The human version of CSTP1 has a canonical amino acid length of 314 residues and a protein mass of 35.5 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells. CSTP1 is a member of the CPPED1 protein family. These CSTP1 antibodies are widely used in Immunofluorescence experiments, among other applications.
