Anti-FAM63B antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the FAM63B antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MINDY2 gene, which encodes MINDY lysine 48 deubiquitinase 2. This protein is a known hydrolase that can remove 'Lys-48'-linked conjugated ubiquitin from proteins. The human version of FAM63B has a canonical amino acid length of 621 residues and a protein mass of 67.1 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase MINDY-2.
