Anti-WNT6 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein Wnt family member 6. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 365 amino acid residues and a mass of 39.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the extracellular matrix and is secreted. It is reported to be expressed in gastric cancer cell lines and gastric cancer tissues. A member of the Wnt protein family, WNT6 is known to be involved with the Wnt signaling pathway and the regulation of cell differentiation. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein Wnt-6 and wingless-type MMTV integration site family, member 6. WNT6 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
