Anti-UBL3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ubiquitin like 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 117 amino acid residues and a mass of 13.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Synonyms for this target antigen include PNSC1, ubiquitin-like protein 3, MUB, hsMUB, membrane-anchored ubiquitin-fold protein, protein HCG-1, and HCG-1. UBL3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some UBL3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
