Anti-Ugt8a antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene UGT8, or 'UDP glycosyltransferase 8' in humans. The 541-amino acid protein is a member of the UDP-glycosyltransferase family. The cellular localization is predicted to be membrane-associated. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
