Anti-TEL2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TEL2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ETV7 gene, which encodes ETS variant transcription factor 7. This protein is known to function in organ morphogenesis and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of TEL2 has a canonical amino acid length of 341 residues and a protein mass of 39 kilodaltons, although 8 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. TEL2 is a member of the ETS protein family.
