Anti-UFD2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the UFD2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the UBE4A gene, which encodes ubiquitination factor E4A. This protein is known to function in protein ubiquitination, among other biological roles. The human version of UFD2 has a canonical amino acid length of 1066 residues and a protein mass of 122.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. UFD2 is a member of the Ubiquitin conjugation factor E4 protein family.
