Anti-SPT6 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SPT6 is a known alias name of the protein SPT6 homolog, histone chaperone and transcription elongation factor, encoded by the SUPT6H gene in humans. This 1726-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in mRNA processing, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The term SPT6H is another synonym for SPT6. ELISA and Western Blot are common applications for SPT6 antibodies.
