Anti-Sike antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Sike antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SIKE1 gene, which encodes suppressor of IKBKE 1. This protein is reported to be a physiological suppressor of IKK-epsilon and TBK1 that plays an inhibitory role in virus- and TLR3-triggered IRF3. The human version of Sike has a canonical amino acid length of 207 residues and a protein mass of 23.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Sike is a member of the SIKE protein family. Indicated applications for Sike antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
