Anti-SHISA2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein shisa family member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 295 amino acid residues and a mass of 31.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER. A member of the Shisa protein family, Shisa2 is known to play an important role in the maturation of presomitic mesoderm cells by individual attenuation of both FGF and WNT signaling. Synonyms for this target antigen include shisa homolog 2, transmembrane protein 46, and protein shisa-2 homolog. SHISA2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the Shisa2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
