Anti-SH3BP1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein SH3 domain binding protein 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 701 amino acid residues and a mass of 75.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus, cell projections, and cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. SH3BP1 is known to be involved with cell migration and cytoskeleton organization. Synonyms for this target antigen include ARHGAP43 and 3BP-1. SH3BP1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chicken species. A number of SH3BP1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
