Anti-SEC15B antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SEC15B antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the EXOC6B gene, which encodes exocyst complex component 6B. This protein is known to function in exocytosis and intracellular protein transport, among other biological roles. The human version of SEC15B has a canonical amino acid length of 811 residues and a protein mass of 94.2 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. SEC15B is a member of the SEC15 protein family.
