Anti-KRT38 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein keratin 38. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 456 amino acid residues and a mass of 50.5 kDa. A member of the Intermediate filament protein family, KRT38 is known to be involved with epithelial cell differentiation. Synonyms for this target antigen include KRTHA8, hHa8, keratin, type I cuticular Ha8, K38, hair keratin, type I Ha8, and HA8. KRT38 gene orthologs have been reported in the bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the KRT38 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
