Anti-RORg antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RORg is a known alias name of the protein RAR related orphan receptor C, encoded by the RORC gene in humans. This 518-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a nuclear receptor that binds DNA as a monomer to ROR response elements (RORE) containing a single core motif half-site 5'-AGGTCA-3' preceded by a short A-T-rich sequence. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. Other synonyms for RORg include IMD42 and NR1F3. Western Blot is a widely used application for the RORg antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
