Anti-TKS4 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TKS4 is a known alias name of the protein SH3 and PX domains 2B, encoded by the SH3PXD2B gene in humans. This 911-amino acid residue protein is known to be an adapter protein involved in invadopodia and podosome formation and extracellular matrix degradation. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in fibroblasts.
