Anti-SH2B antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SH2B antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SH2B1 gene, which encodes SH2B adaptor protein 1. This protein is known to function in intracellular signal transduction, among other biological roles. The human version of SH2B has a canonical amino acid length of 756 residues and a protein mass of 79.4 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the parathyroid gland and small intestine. SH2B is a member of the SH2B adapter protein family. Indicated applications for SH2B antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
