Anti-PHGR1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein proline, histidine and glycine rich 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 82 amino acid residues and a mass of 7.7 kDa. It is notably expressed in the small intestine, rectum, duodenum, colon, and appendix. Synonyms for this target antigen include proline-histidine-glycin-rich protein 1, proline/histidine/glycine-rich 1, and proline, histidine and glycine-rich protein 1. PHGR1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species.
