Anti-NUSAP antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NUSAP is a known alias name of the protein nucleolar and spindle associated protein 1, encoded by the NUSAP1 gene in humans. This 441-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell division, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and bone marrow. Other synonyms for NUSAP include ANKT, BM037, and LNP. Indicated applications for NUSAP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
