Anti-PSP1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PSP1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PSPC1 gene, which encodes paraspeckle component 1. This protein is known to function in innate immune responses and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of PSP1 has a canonical amino acid length of 523 residues and a protein mass of 58.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as paraspeckle protein 1.
