Anti-NEEP21 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The NEEP21 antigen is another term for the human protein neuronal vesicle trafficking associated 1, encoded by the NSG1 gene. The protein is reported to play a role in the recycling mechanism in neurons of multiple receptors, including AMPAR, APP and L1CAM and acts at the level of early endosomes to promote sorting of receptors toward a recycling pathway. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 185 residues and a mass of 20.9 kilodaltons. The NEEP21 protein is a member of the NSG protein family. Indicated applications for NEEP21 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
