Anti-Galpha o antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Galpha o is a known alias name of the protein G protein subunit alpha o1, encoded by the GNAO1 gene in humans. This 354-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in muscle contraction, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate and cerebellum. Other synonyms for Galpha o include DEE17, EIEE17, and G-ALPHA-o. Western Blot is the most common application for the Galpha o antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
