Anti-PRELI antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PRELI antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PRELID1 gene, which encodes PRELI domain containing 1. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway, among other biological roles. The human version of PRELI has a canonical amino acid length of 219 residues and a protein mass of 25.2 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the adrenal gland and appendix. Other names for this target antigen include CGI-106 and CGI-106. Indicated applications for PRELI antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
