Anti-EMILIN3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein elastin microfibril interfacer 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 766 amino acid residues and a mass of 82.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the extracellular matrix and is secreted. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the endometrium and ovary. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include elastin microfibril interface-located protein 3, elastin microfibril interface-located protein 5, elastin microfibril interfacer 5, and EMILIN-5. EMILIN3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the EMILIN3 antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
