Anti-EBP1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the EBP1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PA2G4 gene, which encodes proliferation-associated 2G4. This protein is known to function in the regulation of apoptosis and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of EBP1 has a canonical amino acid length of 394 residues and a protein mass of 43.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. EBP1 is a member of the Peptidase M24 protein family. Some EBP1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
