Anti-PHD4 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The PHD4 antigen is another term for the human protein prolyl 4-hydroxylase, transmembrane, encoded by the P4HTM gene. The protein is known to catalyze the post-translational formation of 4-hydroxyproline in hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) alpha proteins. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 502 residues and a mass of 56.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the ER and it is reported to be widely expressed with highest levels in adult pancreas, heart, skeletal muscle, brain, placenta, kidney and adrenal gland. Other alias names for PHD4 include EGLN4, HIDEA, and HIFPH4.
