Anti-PBE antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PBE is a known alias name of the protein enoyl-CoA hydratase and 3-hydroxyacyl CoA dehydrogenase, encoded by the EHHADH gene in humans. This 723-amino acid residue protein is a member of the Enoyl-CoA hydratase/isomerase protein family; 3-hydroxyacyl-CoA dehydrogenase protein family. It is localized to the peroxisomes of the cell and features acetylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the kidney and liver. Other synonyms for PBE include ECHD, FRTS3, and L-PBE. Western Blot is the most common application for the PBE antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
