Anti-CPB antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CPB is a known alias name of the protein carboxypeptidase B1, encoded by the CPB1 gene in humans. This 417-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in proteolysis, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the pancreas. Other synonyms for CPB include PASP and PCPB.
