Anti-ETR-3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ETR-3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CELF2 gene, which encodes CUGBP Elav-like family member 2. This protein is known to be an RNA-binding protein implicated in the regulation of several post-transcriptional events. The human version of ETR-3 has a canonical amino acid length of 508 residues and a protein mass of 54.3 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and bone marrow. ETR-3 is a member of the CELF/BRUNOL protein family.
