Anti-DAPK antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DAPK is a known alias name of the protein death associated protein kinase 1, encoded by the DAPK1 gene in humans. This 1430-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the apoptotic pathway and intracellular signal transduction, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated, cleaved and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. The term ROCO3 is another synonym for DAPK. Indicated applications for DAPK antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
