Anti-CLAMP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CLAMP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PDZK1 gene, which encodes PDZ domain containing 1. This protein is known to function in protein localization to the plasma membrane, among other biological roles. The human version of CLAMP has a canonical amino acid length of 519 residues and a protein mass of 57.1 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the liver, kidney, gallbladder, duodenum, and colon. CLAMP is a member of the NHER protein family. Indicated applications for CLAMP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
