Anti-Cdc34B antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Cdc34B is a known alias name of the protein ubiquitin conjugating enzyme E2 R2, encoded by the UBE2R2 gene in humans. This 238-amino acid residue protein is known to accept ubiquitin from the E1 complex and catalyzes its covalent attachment to other proteins. The term E2-CDC34B is another synonym for Cdc34B.
