Anti-APC11 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the APC11 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ANAPC11 gene, which encodes anaphase promoting complex subunit 11. This protein is known to function in the cell cycle, among other biological roles. The human version of APC11 has a canonical amino acid length of 84 residues and a protein mass of 9.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus, thyroid gland, and adrenal gland. This target antigen may also be known as Apc11p. ELISA and Western Blot are common applications for APC11 antibodies.
