Anti-NERF antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NERF is a known alias name of the protein E74 like ETS transcription factor 2, encoded by the ELF2 gene in humans. This 593-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the regulation of transcription, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in all fetal and adult tissues examined. Other synonyms for NERF include EU32 and NERF-1A. Indicated applications for NERF antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
