Anti-ASXL3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ASXL transcriptional regulator 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 2248 amino acid residues and a mass of 241.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in pancreatic islets, testis, neuroblastoma, head and neck tumor. A member of the Asx protein family, ASXL3 is known to be involved with organ morphogenesis and the regulation of transcription. The ASXL3 gene has been associated with the disease, Bainbridge-Ropers syndrome. Synonyms for this target antigen include additional sex combs like 3, transcriptional regulator, additional sex combs like transcriptional regulator 3, additional sex combs-like protein 3, and putative Polycomb group protein ASXL3. ASXL3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Indicated applications for ASXL3 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunoprecipitation.
