AROS, or Ribosomal protein S19 binding protein 1, is a human gene encoded by RPS19BP1. It may also be known as: Active regulator of SIRT1; RPS19-binding protein 1; S19BP; 40S ribosomal protein S19-binding protein 1. The encoded protein has an amino acid length of 136 and a mass of 15.4 kDa. Other isoforms may exist. AROS is a member of the AROS family.
