Anti-Hop2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Hop2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PSMC3IP gene, which encodes PSMC3 interacting protein. This protein is known to play an important role in meiotic recombination. The human version of Hop2 has a canonical amino acid length of 217 residues and a protein mass of 24.9 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in the testis. Other names for this target antigen include GT198 and HUMGT198A. Indicated applications for Hop2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
