Anti-FIT2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the FIT2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FITM2 gene, which encodes fat storage inducing transmembrane protein 2. This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization and the metabolism of lipids, among other biological roles. The human version of FIT2 has a canonical amino acid length of 262 residues and a protein mass of 29.9 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells. FIT2 is a member of the FIT protein family. Indicated applications for FIT2 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
