Anti-ZPI antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ZPI antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SERPINA10 gene, which encodes serpin family A member 10. This protein is reported to inhibit activity of the coagulation protease factor Xa in the presence of PROZ, calcium and phospholipids. The human version of ZPI has a canonical amino acid length of 444 residues and a protein mass of 50.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be a secreted protein. This target antigen may also be known as PZI. ELISA and Western Blot are common applications for ZPI antibodies.
