Anti-KChIP4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the KChIP4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the KCNIP4 gene, which encodes potassium voltage-gated channel interacting protein 4. This protein is known to function in protein localization to the plasma membrane, among other biological roles. The human version of KChIP4 has a canonical amino acid length of 250 residues and a protein mass of 28.7 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane, ER, and cytoplasm of cells. KChIP4 is a member of the Recoverin protein family.
