Anti-S6K-alpha3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target S6K-alpha3 is a known alias name of the protein ribosomal protein S6 kinase A3, encoded by the RPS6KA3 gene in humans. This 740-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the cell cycle and nervous system development, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features myristoylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in many tissues, highest levels in skeletal muscle. Other synonyms for S6K-alpha3 include CLS, CLS, and HU-3. Western Blot is the most common application for the S6K-alpha3 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
